AEQON's Story

Our Mothership

As the global business headquarters of EXEO Group, Inc., EXEO Global is strategically located in Singapore, a premier international business hub. We operate across four key sectors: M&E Engineering Services, ICT Infrastructure, Intelligent Technologies, and Managed Services. Our global operations are designed to deliver excellence and innovation in each of these areas. AEQON is proudly part of our diverse portfolio, reflecting our commitment to advancing technology and service excellence worldwide.

From Humble Beginnings to Industry Leadership

We began our journey in 2011 as a small yet passionate team of five, helping Singapore leapfrog into a high-speed era building the Next Generation Fibre Broadband and 4G networks. Our relentless pursuit of growth and innovation caught the attention of DeClout, leading to our acquisition as part of a strategic growth initiative.

Harnessing Synergy Through Strategic Partnerships

Growth often calls for transformation. Recognizing the need to expand our capabilities, we sought partnerships that aligned with our vision. Through carefully chosen acquisitions, we integrated companies such as Asia Wiring Systems (AWS), Pacific Wave, TJ Systems and AOAO Global under one umbrella of infrastructure and technology solutions. Each of these entities brings niche expertise, guided by seasoned veterans in their respective fields, creating a robust synergy that fuels our innovation and service excellence.

Taking Charge of Our Transformation

In July 2021, as we celebrated our 10th year anniversary, we embraced a new direction and identity. Shedding our former name, Beaqon, we adopted AEQON, symbolized by an upward-arrow triangle logo. This logo represents our journey to ascend the “mountains of technological change” and reflects our commitment to continuous growth and innovation. Like a beacon navigating the waves, AEQON now leads from the forefront of technology.

Becoming Part of a Global Vision

In 2018, our parent company DeClout was acquired by EXEO Global, making our company a key portfolio company. As the regional headquarters of the Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime Market-listed EXEO Group, Inc., Japan, EXEO Global supports the strategic and operational management of subsidiaries worldwide. This integration empowers us to deliver even greater value to our clients and stakeholders.

A Unified Future: AEQON TJ Pte. Ltd.

To drive growth and consolidate our business, AEQON merged with TJ Systems and start to operate under its new name AEQON TJ Pte. Ltd. from 31st December 2024. This strategic unification represents a milestone in our journey, allowing us to combine expertise in the ICT and security industries, offering unparalleled solutions to meet evolving technological demands.

AEQON’s Identity

Our Name ——

The AE – pronounced as the letter ‘A’ – is made up from the first letters of Ascending & Evolutionary which best represents the qualities of our people and organisation.

“QON” is pronounced as ‘K(ə)n’ as in ‘Beacon’. We took a portion of our precedent company name while moving forward with time without forgetting our roots and core values.

Our Logo ——

The arrowhead in our new logo points up, representing an upward ascending motion. This signifies continuous growth, and an abundance of energy in our people, to propel us towards our goals.

  • Founded in Singapore
  • Rolled out island-wide National Broadband Generation Broad Band Network (NgNBN)
2013
  • Maiden foray into Tele Infrastructure space with System Integrator business
2014
  • Acquisitions of Pacific Wave and Asia Wiring Systems to expand our offerings in connectivity space 
2015
  • Ventured into Data Centre Infrastructure business
Jan 2016
  • Acquisition of TJ Systems to expand of our offerings in homeland security and Integrated Security Management System (ISMS)
2017
  • Started Neutral Hosting for inbuilding Cellular Infrastructure in Indonesia
  • Starred building capabilities for Smart City and Cyber Securities spaces.
2018
  • Formed the ICT BU to focus on Compute, Connectivity and Energy solutions, supporting all existing BU and OTT carriers. 
2019
  • Became part of EXEO Global in April 
  • Acquired AOAO to expand our SC-MIMO offerings to Mobile Service Providers 
  • JV with FMOne to create strategic value of integrating facilities management services for buildings 
2020
  • Significant win of 186 Sales & Lease site from Indonesia Telecommunications Operator in September 
2021
  • Rebrand ourselves as AEQON in July 
2022
  • Divestment of Shareholding in FMONE International Pte Ltd 
  • Subsidiary company, dHost, is restructured to operate under the umbrella of the parent company. EXEO Global.
  • AEQON is restructured to position under the parent company. EXEO Global.
2023
  • Setting up AEQON Technologies is a strategic step in establishing our presence in Taiwan
  • Acquisition of Codetech Telecommunication to allow us to actively pursue sustainable energy projects in the dynamic Taiwan market
  • Acquisition of NHÂN SINH PHÚC (NSP) in Vietnam to expand our regional footprint and opened up exciting opportunities for collaboration
