Our company culture in AEQON is rather dynamic. I have learnt to make quick sprints and learn on the fly, and a wealth of knowledge is amassed with the dynamics of my work. As a manager, we are often encouraged to make critical decisions with calculated risk. Working closely with internal cross-function colleagues and external stakeholders has greatly honed my interpersonal skills. I am lucky to work with so many intelligent and supportive people; we all have different strengths, so we always learn from one another. The openness of the leadership team has given us the flexibility to take on responsibilities we deemed fit. There is always an element of fun and camaraderie working in AEQON. It’s never a dull day!
Dave Lee

I am Dave Lee, an engineer at the start, who has grown together with AEQON since the beginning of the journey. Working in an environment where people are cared for is the most important to me. My team is very united, where each colleague has their unique strength and willingness to help each other. This makes it a wonderful place to work in. I am delighted by how much I can learn and grow with the company with the support of my CEO. Every year I am given a chance to take up one or two courses that will sharpen my current skill sets and put them to good use in my work. One of my greatest accomplishments is to deploy an HVDC system for a telecommunication company in their data center together with my team. I am excited to work in AEQON because I am moving ahead with the company with new projects and technology implementations!

The accumulated experiences in the Customer Care team have made me grow a lot throughout the years. I am usually a shy and reserved person, but I have learnt to step out of my comfort zone to deal with vendor partners and communicate effectively with our clients.
I am grateful to the leadership team to guide and nurture me, and I can put forward ideas and suggestions to improve our business processes. Achieving success is a great feeling when we push ourselves harder to accomplish goals together. The team I work with is fun, caring, and easy-going colleagues who make work more enjoyable.

I have joined AEQON since I graduated from school. This is a continuation of the internship I have with the company. I have grown and discovered a lot during my time working in AEQON. What I have gained is a deeper understanding of the process of doing troubleshooting works for security systems & data centre equipment. I also get to interact with customers to understand the users’ needs and requirements.
I am in the good hands of an excellent and positive team as whenever there is an issue that occurs, the team will discuss and put in possible solutions to resolve the problem. There are incidents where multiple issues happen concurrently, the team took the lead to discuss, share knowledge & experience on how to tackle the fault. I am glad that we resolve the problem in a timely manner. Our team also bonded well over great meals and laughter too!
Andy Lim

I am from AOAO Global, a subsidiary of AEQON. We are a small team of 8 within our company and has other divisions like finance from AEQON group that help in our daily operations. Together with the team, we manage to secure business opportunities for more than 50 leading mobile operators in over 17 countries. Though not all opportunities turn into actual business transactions, I am glad that as a team we are able to put the company name AOAO Global out there with our solutions.
With the financial support from our parent company, the team is able to ramp up the R&D effort. It is an exciting part of the journey with the company to develop new product solutions and roll them out to present them to our clients for considerations. It is a very fulfilling feeling when our solution is accepted for implementation in the country.
Muhammad Yunus Bin Ahmad

As an Assistant Manager of the Customer Care team, I render support to my senior manager in taking on a range of duties such as dealing with users’ feedbacks on the systems and ensuring the best possible service is provided to our clients. I have a hands-on approach to tasks and help my colleagues when facing difficulties. I have to make crucial decisions and provide accountability to my decision and my team’s actions at times. But I believe in my team; they can deliver.
Working at AEQON is very different from the other companies I have worked with. It has a culture that we drill ourselves to think positively and never give up. The company core values guide us well in our daily operations and actions. I am happy that I can contribute to the company’s goals and achieve personal growth.
